Remain Motivated!!!

You have to remain motivated through out the two years to utilise your full potential for IIT JEE. The thing is if you are motivated, then you won't care for anything or anyone. Your focus would be mainly on your target. No matter how many problems come in your way, you will always try to take maximum and prepare for IIT JEE. You would prefer to solve 2 problems of maths rather than listening to a song in your leisure time.

So, here i would like to discuss how to remain motivated.

1) You have to know your interest. Be specific. I mean be clear about your goal. for ex i had a goal to join IIT Bombay Computer Science. So i was clear about what it would take to achieve it. I knew that i need about 300/360 to achieve the goal. So my focus was always on which areas should I improve and where should pay a little more attention.

2) Be clear what IIT is. Be clear on what would your life be once you go into IIT. Just imagine being into IIT once and I can assure you that you wont rest till your goal is achieved. ( Some people think that the ones who get into IIT lack a social life and thus are nerds. Well it is not true at all. The people in IIT enjoy a lot more than anyother college guy. Its what I have seen till now.)

3) You feel the direct influence of the people in your surroundings. If your parents know the value of IIT, then they will surely try to motivate you ( It was in my case ) . If you have a good friend's circle who aspire for IIT, then naturally you would remain restless till you achieve your goal.

4) Never ever feel that You are incapable of achieving your goal. If such feeling comes to you, Just shout that " Yeh IIT kya cheej hai. And maaja to difficult and different cheejein karne mein aata hai. " Just say these and your all frustration will vanish. Just think that every IITian would have felt low during this 2 years.

5) Always review your progress. You can ask your parents to do that. Just make a plan what you gonna accomplish in a period say a week or a month. Review your progress always. Reward yourself for finishing short term goals. It arises a feeling of confidence and makes your energetic.

6) Always be positive. Believe that you can understand any concept and are capable of solving any problem. Feel that if you cant solve it then no can even solve it. Have Positive attitude.

7) Never procrastinate. Do the thing at the correct time.

8)Just think, how many people have expectations from you. It will make you motivated more and more and take you closer towards your goal.

My first post;- About me and the motto of this blog

Hi future IITians,

I have created this blog just to guide you people to crack the most DIFFERENT ( not difficult ) examination of the world.
Let me first introduce myself.

I am Arijit Panigrahy. I live in Berhampur, Odisha.
I have taken coaching in a local coaching institute named "ARYABHAT".
In these two years, i have seen many ups and downs. So, some of my achievements are:-

  •  KVPY  SA mentor ( rank 44)
  •  KVPY SX Fellow ( rank 128)
  • BITSAT score- 403
  •  JEE Mains score - 300
  •  JEE Advanced - AIR 416
  • Qualified both NSEP and NSEC

Why I have opened this Blog?
The main problem that I faced during my preparation was the advice of a senior. And i think most of my friends did not fare well due to lack of a senior who has cracked IIT JEE with a good rank. So i want to help all the future IIT JEE aspirants ( of 2015 and so on) to enter into the gateway of the most prestigious engg. college in the country. In this blog, I would focus on my course of preparation for this different exam and also tell you about the problems which i faced and also the mistakes that I made. Also i will try my level best to clarify your doubts about the preparation methods for this entrance.

" Because a single mistake can cost your IIT Seat. "

Also, I will try to emphasize on the pattern and also would like to guide you for other exams like KVPY, Olympiads etc.
Moreover, i would focus on chapterwise strategy of each subjects.
I would really be happy, if i would be of some use to you.

Regards
Arijit Panigrahy
